Tri-Colour Sweater (TCS)

Description

Beautiful tri-colour patchwork sweater features natural colours of the west of Ireland. Features a more contemporary box shape with traditional Aran stitches cable, honeycomb, trellis, diamond and moss stitch. Hem and cuffs finished in cable pattern.

Aran Patterns:

 Cable – Fisherman’s Rope : Safety and good luck when out on high seas.

Trellis : Represents the stone walls and fields.

Honeycomb: Representing the hard work of the Aran Islanders.

Diamond Stitch: Success and wealth for a bountiful catch.

Irish Moss Stitch: Carrageen moss harvested at low tides on Aran Islands Shores.
